Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with the company’s objectives and support our growth in the oil and gas sector.
- Lead the recruitment process for a range of technical and non-technical positions, ensuring the acquisition of top talent in engineering, operations, safety, and administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver comprehensive onboarding and training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, working closely with safety and compliance teams to create and enforce robust protocols.
- Oversee compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring our packages remain competitive within the industry and align with our employees’ needs.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a workforce that thrives on varied perspectives and experiences.
- Stay current with industry trends and labour regulations, adapting HR strategies as necessary to meet the evolving demands of the oil and gas sector.
- Collaborate on succession planning efforts to identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Drive change management processes related to new technologies, processes, and market shifts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant in Human Resources, Business Administration
- Proven experience (5) as an HR Manager in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
- Human Recourses certification
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and compliance within the industry.
- Strong experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR strategies that contribute to business success.
- Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Salary Range
N300,000 – N400,000 / month.
