Job Title: Information Technology Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Explore technology to create strong awareness of company’s brand through social media, and other platforms.
  • Work with partner and other service providers to implement an END to END technology process for sales of company products online
  • Maintenance of company’s website
  • Influence and partner with businesses to understand business strategies. Interacts on a regular basis with business Partners, Agents and other Intermediaries to ensure their needs are understood and IT updates are communicated on a consistent basis.
  • Analyse business processes; elicit analysis and document business requirements.
  • Identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility and make recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing IT technology components.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of the business process strategy for Microinsurance Model.
  • Relative knowledge of coding and software development will be an added advantage
  • Identify information and technology capabilities required to support the business process and collaborate those capabilities in the development of information management strategies and developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy.
  • Identify industry trends and make recommendations on how to enhance the existing business processes.
  • Communicate business requirements and perform business process mapping.
  • Manage information and technology Project and ensure that implementation activities are established per project with suppliers.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and per defined requirements, in-line with service levels.
  • Have a sound knowledge of IT requirements to grass rooting within the Microinsurance Business Models.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and Training with business teams, as required, per project.
  • Stay aware of evolving regulatory, legal and economic impacts for Microinsurance Global Marketing.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
  • Relative knowledge of coding and software development will be an added advantage

Skills / Competence Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer science/related course in software development
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis and solution delivery.
  • Insurance Experience would be an added advantage.
