Background

• We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated International Trade Finance Business Analyst to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade finance, accounting and banking operations.

This role involves

• Implementation of an international trade finance software
• Engaging in business requirement gathering from clients, identifying client issues and producing a business requirement document.
• Analysing of the business requirement document with a view to proffering suitable solutions for clients.
• Work closely with various departments, including software development team and sales, to ensure that our international trade software is efficient and compliant with all relevant regulations.
• Monitoring geopolitical developments, assessing their impact on trade, and advising the company on potential risks and opportunities as it relates to the maintenance of our trade finance software.
• Training our client on our international trade finance software
• Identify and understand issues that may be raised on the system and work with relevant stake holders to resolve them

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, business management or related field with a minimum of a second class upper division
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on international trade operations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in data & business analysis tools and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
• Experience with market research and analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with trade databases and analytical tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
