Job Overview:
- As the Inventory Manager at Koolboks, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our inventory operations.
- Your responsibilities will include overseeing stock levels, implementing efficient inventory management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product availability.

Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze sales forecasts, historical data, and market trends to optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align inventory plans with demand.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day inventory operations, including ordering, receiving, and replenishment.
- Implement efficient inventory management systems to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze inventory metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Supplier Collaboration:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with suppliers to optimize inventory costs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements as needed.
Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand promotional activities and adjust inventory plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with finance teams to manage inventory costs and budget adherence.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inventory processes.
Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and address issues.
- Work with product development to enhance product packaging and reduce damage during storage.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and aging.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for process optimization and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the renewable energy or technology sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
