Investment Analyst at Sterling Asset Management & Trustees Ltd (SAMTL)

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Analyst located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Investment Analyst will be responsible for performing financial analysis, evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market research and analysis, creating financial models,and communicating investment recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a strong background in Investments, Finance, and Analytical Skills
• Experience in Financial Modeling and Portfolio Management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• 5 years experience in buy/ sell side and in depth understanding of the Nigerian equity and fixed income markets
• CFA or other relevant financial certifications would be an added advantage
• It would be an advantage to be a SEC sponsored individual and familiarity with the regulations
