IP Engineer at Telecommunication Solution Provider

We are a leading Telecommunication connectivity solution provider and we desire to engage highly competent candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: IP Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned duties in regard to planning and optimization of existing IP/MPLS network setup,
• Monitor, tune, dimensioning and forecasting expansions of IP/MPLS network or its components (including international/national peering platforms and caching/filtering/load-balancing platforms) based on traffic growth trends,
• Troubleshoot core IP/MPLS network related issues and deploying corrective measures
• Plan system monitoring mechanisms that rapidly detect and block any security intrusion and service assaults
• Deploy and operate all peering connectivity with CDN providers.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• University Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a telecommunications environment
• Network certification such as CCNA, CCNP and CCIE
• Good knowledge of service provider IP architecture.
• Good knowledge of networking technologies – TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls & proxy
• Advanced knowledge of Visio. Able to create complex network diagrams and other.
