Job Summary

• The ICT & Electronic Systems Solution Development Unit Staff will have the responsibility of upgrading and maintaining the ITC ERMS platform, consolidating all revenue reporting systems, creating wallet collection solutions, and innovating new revenue products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the ERMS platform (now ITC ERMS) for collecting taxes, levies, charges, fees, and other fiscal items within the informal sector.
• Streamline revenue reporting by unifying all reporting platforms, ensuring a more cohesive and efficient process.
• Develop wallet collection systems for various revenue streams, simplifying taxpayer payments and enhancing revenue collection for the state government.
• Innovate and introduce new revenue products and services to boost the state government’s Internal Generated Revenue (IGR).
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate the ERMS platform with existing systems and processes.
• Analyze user requirements and design and develop software solutions accordingly.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure reliability and a defect-free product.
• Provide training and support to end-users for the effective utilization of developed systems and products.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in software development and database management.
• Proficiency in software development methodologies and programming languages such as Java, PHP, Python, C#, MVC, and WEB API.
• Solid knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle.
• Competent in the use of software development tools including Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
