Job Description
- We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated IT Technical Sales Professional to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling technical products and services, with hands-on experience in generating leads, closing deals, and driving significant sales growth.
- This role is pivotal to our company’s success, focusing on expanding our customer base and maximizing revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to generate leads and expand the customer base.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales growth.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
- Build and sustain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize in-depth technical knowledge to demonstrate and explain product features and benefits to prospective customers.
- Address customer inquiries and objections effectively to close sales.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to close deals successfully.
- Ensure that all sales are profitable and align with the company’s financial objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or technical certification is a plus.
- 4-10 years of hands-on experience in IT technical sales.
- Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales growth/ROI.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT products and services, including software, hardware, cloud solutions, and networking.
- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and close high-value deals.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Salary
- N200,000 – N400,000 / month.
