Introduction
- The IBM Infrastructure Expert Labs organization is looking for an experienced Delivery Consultant with expertise in IBM Infrastructure portfolio (Power and Storage), Hybrid Cloud, Containers, Security, & DevOps architectural methods technology and products to lead and deliver pre-sales and post-sales client engagements that enable the adoption IBM infrastructure.
- Ideal candidates will have demonstrated a successful history of implementing solutions, and be capable to architect, implement, and assess independently IBM Infrastructure install base, with 1 or more topics including: IBM Spectrum solutions, Openshift, Security Solutions, Automation, Opensource Databases.
- They should be able independently assess IT infrastructures, evaluate gaps in best practices and create solution recommendations for client environments while displaying excellent collaboration and communication with Clients, Sellers, Business Partners, and Colleagues by delivering reports to clients.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and delivering solution design, architecture, and implementation of IBM solutions which may include:
- Technical Requirements Capable to Deliver Independently in 4 or more Topics:
- Private & Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: PowerVC, or, Cloud Management Console
- Containerization Technology: Openshift, Kubernetes, or Serverless Functions
- Automation: Terraform or Ansible
- High Availability: PowerHA, VMRecovery Manager, or LinuxHA
- Security: PowerSC, Security Compliance, Security Auditing, MFA, or File / Database Encryption
- Storage for hybrid cloud
- Spectrum portfolio: Spectrum protect and protect plus, Spectrum scale, Spectrum fusion etc
- Storage for data resiliency: Safe guard
- You will work with customers and IBM Sales and Business Partners to position, scope, and deliver. Candidates must possess a strong background in executive consulting or technical sales and capable to deliver independently in 1 or more domain listed in the technical skills portfolio.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years’ experience working with three or more topic listed below:
- Private & Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: PowerVC, or, Cloud Management Console
- Containerization Technology: Openshift, Kubernetes, or Serverless Functions
- Automation: Terraform or Ansible

- Provable excellence with people, communication, and collaboration skills, with a track record of networking and influencing, at all levels, throughout solutioning of complex storage architectures and positioning storage in a hybrid-cloud architecture.
- Proven discipline and attention to detail with the usage of sales management and recording systems, and expectation setting /follow-up.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- A strong understanding of IBM’s storage product suite. (Full training on IBM’s technologies will be provided)
