1). Community Internship

Description
- TeleSoftas Nigeria team is looking for a new proactive intern to join the team! This internship will provide you with a great opportunity to sharpen your Community engagement skills as well as become part of a fun & professional 7 man team in our Nigeria office! During the internship you will have a mentor that will guide you, answer the questions and will challenge you! 💪
- As Community Intern, you will be working on the Get Global program which is a knowledge-based community and career accelerator designed to build a bridge between the African and Global tech ecosystems. We re-skill African tech professionals and support them in securing global job opportunities. We believe that with the right skills, culture, and experience, African software engineers can compete with the best in the world.
What you will be doing?
- Developing and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholders
- Collecting and analyzing data to track community engagement and identify areas for improvement
- Assisting with the development and implementation of community-focused programs and services
- Monitoring and responding to community feedback and concerns through various communication channels
- Conducting outreach to new members of the community to build awareness and engagement
- Creating written, visual, or multimedia content to engage and inform the community, such as blog posts, videos, infographics or NewsLetters
- Conducting research to understand the needs and interests of the community, such as surveys, interviews, or focus groups
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Active listening and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with members of the community and stakeholders
- Organizational and project management skills to plan and execute community events and initiatives
- Data analysis and research skills to collect and analyze community feedback and engagement metrics
- Creativity and innovation to develop engaging and impactful community outreach strategies and initiatives

- Previous experience in community outreach, event planning, or related fields will be great

- Research social media trends and best practices to optimize the company’s social media presence

- The Nigeria Business unit of TeleSoftas is a few months old and is actively looking to grow its client portfolio. The primary focus for the unit is to court Tech firms in Africa and in the EU with the aim of selling outsourced Technology services to prospects.
What you will be doing?
- Conduct research on potential clients and industries to identify business opportunities and generate Leads
- Participate in sales meetings and presentations with potential clients.
- Help prepare sales proposals, quotes, and contracts
- Support the sales team in managing and maintaining customer relationships
- Work with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to sales, such as scheduling meetings and preparing sales materials
- Learn about the sales process and techniques used in the tech industry
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
