1). Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Our client who is a prop-tech in the construction space seeks for a qualified Accountant to be responsible for supporting decision-making and overseeing of financial information.
  • The Accountant’s responsibilities include producing budgets, overseeing tax payments, and conducting internal audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Control all aspects of financial accounting for the company’s operations.
  • Create financial statements for processing payroll, account reconciliations, account payables, account receivables, income, and expenses, among other things.
  • Create quarterly, yearly, and monthly reports.
  • Carry out internal audits.
  • Create the organization’s budget.
  • Track and report accounting irregularities.
  • Keep abreast of financial policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Observe local, state, and federal tax laws.
  • Identify discrepancies or inaccuracies in the accounting and recommend the requiredcorrective action.
  • Keep thorough accounting records for future use.
  • Assist other departments with accounting and financial analytical work.
  • Help with activities related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Answer staff members’ queries and accounting questions.
  • Conduct internal audits and verify the accuracy of financial documents.
  • Reconcile and record bank accounts and credit card transactions.
  • Coordinate annual audits, examine financial data and assist as required.
  • Examine and report on changes in income statements as well as the financial situation.
  • Share financial results with Executive Management and important stakeholders.
  • Enhance procedures and systems and launch corrective action.
  • Make sure that the legal and tax frameworks are followed.
  • Make sure that accounting standards and corporate regulations are followed by the financial records.
  • Complete month-end closing tasks such as account reconciliation, revenue and expense accounting, etc.
  • Create financial reports as needed for team meetings or upon management and client request.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports quickly and accurately.
  • Assist with the annual budget, forecast, and projection development.
  • Help with the documentation prepared for the annual financial audits

Qualifications

  • Applicants must possess a degree in accounting.
  • ACCA or ICAN in view would be an added advantage.
  • Must have 2-3 years working experience in an accounting or finance position.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Quick Book software.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies.
  • Time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent commercial and business acumen
  • Outstanding mathematical skills.
  • Ability to remain confidential when needed.

2). Tech Sales Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Our client who is a prop-tech in the construction is looking to hire a skilled Tech Sales Manager to drive strategic sales, accounts closing, oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients.
  • These would be clients in the real estate, construction and industrial development space
  • The Tech Sales Managerwill be responsible for obtaining new real estate developers, contractors, procurement managers, construction managers, corporate organizations etc. maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements and helping them successfully make purchases via the company’s platform.
  • The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers and will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
  • The goal would be to contribute in sustaining and growing the business to achieve long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales leads and retain existing clients.
  • Create new pipeline in target industries and convert them into Platform users
  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times and build sustainable relationships and trust through open and interactive

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Sales Tech Sales Management role
  • BSc / MSc in Marketing, Sales or other Business Management Related roles
  • Experience using CRMs and other tech skills, is of great advantage
  • Effective Communication Skills
