Job Description

- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrum Master with a minimum of four years of experience in delivering data and software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully guiding cross-functional teams in the implementation of Agile methodologies, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality products.
- As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in driving the Agile process, removing impediments, and ensuring the team is aligned with the project goals.
Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation:
- Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Guide teams in the effective use of Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products.
- Ensure that the Scrum framework is implemented and adhered to within the teams, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Project Delivery:
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project’s vision, goals, and objectives are clearly understood and followed.
- Support the team in breaking down complex data and software development tasks into manageable increments that can be delivered within a sprint.
- Track and communicate project progress, velocity, and sprint/release goals to all stakeholders.
Impediment Removal:
- Proactively identify and resolve any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.
- Collaborate with external teams and management to remove dependencies and external blockers.
- Support the team in managing risks and dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
Team Development:
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment where team members can thrive.
- Mentor and coach team members on Agile best practices, helping them to become self-organized and accountable.
- Encourage a culture of feedback and continuous learning within the team.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain open and effective communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders, managing expectations and fostering transparency.
- Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans.
- Encourage the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
- Stay current with industry trends, Agile methodologies, and emerging technologies to continuously refine the team’s processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc., B.Eng, B.Tech., HND, etc.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with a minimum of second class upper degree/upper credit.
- Have minimum of a credit in five (5) O ’levels subjects including Mathematics and English in one sitting only.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Scrum Master, specifically in data and software development projects.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
- Proven experience in delivering projects in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and data management practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar project management software.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.

- On behalf of our client, a leading Agro-Commodity trading company, we are recruiting for the role of Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing financial operations.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and contributing to growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team, ensuring collaboration, efficiency, and adherence to financial goals.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including recording, reporting, and internal control processes, to ensure smooth cash flow compatible with company operations.
- Ensure compliance with national and local financial regulations, stay updated on legislation changes, and take necessary actions to maintain compliance. Analyze revenue opportunities, internal operations, and economic trends.
- Identify areas for cost reduction, process enhancement, and operational efficiency within the finance department.
- Assist in analyzing company liabilities and investments, manage capital structure, and support fundraising initiatives. Identify and manage financial risks in coordination with the CFO.
- Monitor business performance using tracking tools, establish corrective measures when needed, and prepare detailed financial reports for review by the CFO and senior management.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets. Analyze financial data, evaluate performance against targets, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, integrating financial considerations into decision-making processes. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and investment evaluations
Requirements
- Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any related course. MSc is an added advantage
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CMA or CPA is required.
- Proven minimum of 5 – 7 years experience as a Head of Finance or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office packages, ERPs and financial management software.
- Established knowledge of accounting packages
- In-depth understanding of GAAP and IFRS In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices and procedures
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Good leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Good organization and time management skills.
