1).  Account/Customer Service Representative

Location: Adeniyi Jones – Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing information about products, services and company polices
  • Answering customers questions via phone, email, chat or in person
  • Update and manage accounting records such as ledgers and journals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial documents.
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Handle accounts payable and receivables
  • Reconcile bank statement and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and update files and records, both physical and digital
  • Prepare invoices, receipts and other financial documents
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality
  • Any other duties as instructed by the Managing Director

Education and Requirements

  • Minimum of National Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Minimum of One (1) year experience working in the same capacity
  • Female preferred for gender balance
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new accounting software
  • Good Management and Financial Reporting skills
  • Close proximity to Ikeja and its environs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the financial transactions of the Company are accurately captured, classified, and posted with relevant approvals and coding instructions
  • Oversees the Preparation of budgets and strategic plans
  • Provide monthly Management Accounts
  • Ensure timely completion of Statutory Accounts
  • Perform regular reviews of the ledgers and other books of entries and ensure relevant reconciliations
  • Ensure confidentiality and safe keeping of accounting records and documents
  • Adhere to financial and accounting control procedures of the Company
  • Carry out monthly Tax Returns (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax etc.)
  • Any other duties as instructed by the Managing Director

Education and Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related disciplines
  • Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the industry
  • Working knowledge and experience of an accounting software / ERP

Job Description

  • Our client, a medium scale Interior Designer providing full range of interior design services based in Ikoyi, Lagos State requires the service of an Accountant / Operational Executive with prior experience in the job role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the basic accounting/stock issues of the company
  • Handle the Human Resource/Welfare matters of the company
  • Update and manage accounting records such as ledgers and journals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial documents.
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Handle accounts payable and receivables
  • Reconcile bank statement and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and update files and records, both physical and digital

Education and Requirements

  • Must possess National Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Office Operational/Accounting matters
  • Must be able to coordinate all administrative matters
  • Ability to work under less supervision or no supervision
  • Ability to take initiatives
  • Must reside in Lagos (Within Ikoyi, VI Axis, not further than Ikeja, Surulere, Owonronshoki, Ketu Axis on the Mainland)
  • Must be ready to work weekends (3 Saturdays in a Month)
