1). Technical Publisher

Job Role

  • Responsible for the publication of Green Africa’s documentation
  • Performing the initial steps of developing amendment highlights in conjunction with the manual owners
  • Carrying out necessary changes to achieve manual amendment or reissue
  • Uploading of web or printing of all manuals which may require amendments or reissue for distribution
  • Ensuring that the revision status of the manual/documents is in agreement with that of the manufacturers, vendors and Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority
  • Ensuring prompt dispatch and safe delivery of revisions to manuals and accurate incorporation of such revisions into Green Africa’s manuals
  • Maintaining a concise and comprehensive list of all technical documents held at Green Africa and their location
  • Responsible for the distribution of manuals and amendments to manual owners on the distribution list
  • Maintaining the aircraft library

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in any related field
  • Proven experience in Technical Documentation Management
  • Proficient in Computer-based applications used for publishing
  • Conversant with Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority Requirements and organizational requirements and procedures
  • Previous experience in aviation.

2). Manager, Ground Services Training and Procedures

Location: Lagos

Job Role

  • The overall responsibility of the Technical Training & Compliance Manager is to oversee and manage Airport services function, the appropriate processes, procedures, and requirements for the initial and recurrent training of all internal and external personnel who perform operational duties and functions within the scope of airport service operations.
  • Carry out day-to-day oversight of the activities of Green Africa Airport Management Team.
  • To manage and ensure safe, efficient, and timely airport operations.
  • Coordinate with all Airport Services Vendors and ensure compliance with SLA.
  • Regular liaison with Management of Handling Agents and other service suppliers to identify problems areas and find solution to them.
  • Close oversight on the Airport Operations by ensuring Green Africa image reputation and customer service levels are maintained and enhanced to the highest standards.
  • Implement and periodically review strategy to ensure that Green Africa airport staff fulfil all procedures, standards, and instruction as stated in the Ground Services Manual.
  • To oversee the management and control of data, processes, procedures, and appropriate, current and relevant documentation within the scope of Ground Handling.
  • To ensure the retention and dissemination of documentation received from external sources.

Qualifications

  • A graduate of university Degree level or equivalent in any field of study.
  • At least 5 years’ industry experience in a related role with experience of supervising and managing people.
  • Must possess relevant training skills and certification.
  • Ability to multi-task and make critical decision.
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Project and working knowledge of computer-based operation tools is a must.
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of IATA practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of management practices within the Airline Industry will be an added advantage.

3). Technical Stores and Logistics Officer

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full time

Job Role

  • Establish and run a sustainable procurement Programme and procedure.
  • Ensure management and co-ordination of all logistics activities.
  • Ensure all incoming parts, material, tooling, and equipment are purchased from approved vendors, have proper documentation, and ensure traceability is available for all procured item.
  • Organise appropriate facilities to provide secure storage of aircraft spare parts, material, tooling, and equipment and comply with all applicable regulatory requirement, OEM specifications and the industry’s standards.
  • Develop and manage the procedure of issuance of parts, materials, and tools in and out of the store to ensure accountability and traceability.
  • Liaise with freight service providers to ensure that import and export of cargo is executed as per the industry’s standards to prevent, damage to cargo, loss of cargo, delayed delivery of cargo and to ensure the process is cost effective.
  • Maintain and manage a minimum-maximum stock level.
  • Manage all Supply chain, Logistics and Technical Store related contracts as assigned by the Director of Maintenance and Engineering.
  • Manage OEM consignment stock in Green Africa’s custody and ensure traceability of such parts.
  • Effectively manage and execute tool/part loan agreements.
  • Ensure that internal and external audit findings are appropriately addressed and closed when required.
  • Co-ordinates warranty claims to ensure the process is properly managed.
  • Ensure periodic stock taking programme is done and stock taking report is produced and distributed appropriately.
  • Carryout process analysis and continually improve areas of poor performance.
  • Effectively manage AOG situations to reduce aircraft ground time and improve OTP.
  • Produce annual budget for the Technical Store and Logistics unit.

Other Duties:

  • Identify training needs of staff and ensure they are trained to improvement their effectiveness on the job and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a list of approved vendors and freight service providers.

Qualifications

  • Have an HND or BSC certificate in Supply Chain Management or any other relevant field of study (professional certification is an added advantage).
  • Possess previous work experience in Supply Chain unit and Technical stores section of a commercial airline with 5 years’ work experience out of which 3 years must have been spent in a supervisory position.
  • Possess a good understanding of supply chain management, logistics management and Technical Stores Management.
  • Possess a good knowledge of contracts, component repair, re-order level, component shelf life, component management, vendor management, tools management, Stores and Supply Chain Management software, shipping and clearing of goods etc.
  • Have a good knowledge of manufacturers’ manuals e.g. AIPC, component CMMs etc.
  • Possess good understanding of NCAA Regulation.
  • Be Computer literate with good understanding of Microsoft Office package

Others:

  • Be a Good communicator, with a high degree of organisational skills, proactive thinking, time management and continuous improvement logic.
  • Have well-developed interpersonal skills and perform effectively in a multicultural setting.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
