1). Electrical Fitter
Location: Edo
Job Summary
- The Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify electrical faults and apply the necessary corrective actions.
- Assist in the commissioning and testing of electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to enhance electrical performance in the plant.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety in the workplace.
Requirements
Key Requirements
- Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.

Job Summary
- The Electrical Rewinder at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for the repair and maintenance of electric motors, transformers, and generators by rewinding electrical coils. This role ensures that machinery operates efficiently and effectively across all company operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble and repair electric motors, generators, and transformers while adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Rewind electrical coils, ensuring that all components are properly insulated and secured.
- Test and inspect repaired equipment to ensure functionality and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members to troubleshoot electrical issues and optimize machine performance.
- Assist in the development of maintenance plans for electrical equipment.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards during work processes.
Requirements

Location: Edo
Job Objective
Lead and manage the Cement Mill operations to optimize production efficiency and quality of cement output.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process in the Cement Mill to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
- Monitor and control the mill’s operational parameters for optimal performance.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime.
- Manage the kiln feed quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Lead and train production staff on best practices and safety procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency.
- Prepare reports on production performance and submit to management for review.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure smooth operations.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
Work Experience
- Minimum of ten years (10) years of experience in cement production, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
