1). Head, Digital Marketing, Media and PR

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Design, build and maintain the company’s social media presence.
  • Aggressively grow brand and product awareness across various online platforms including social media.
  • Readily drive the adoption of company products and services.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Effectively manage online brand perception and reputation
  • Use marketing automation as a tool for achieving business and brand objectives.
  • Implement effective digital, media/public relations and crisis management systems and processes.
  • Ensure all external communications are consistent with the corporate and subsidiary brand positioning.
  • Manage the media relations program for the company and key stakeholders. • Aggressively pursue positive media coverage for all subsidiaries and develop effective strategies to manage/mitigate negative coverage.
  • Supervise the planning, organizing and convening of corporate press conferences, media briefings etc.) for all subsidiaries.
  • Produce press releases, interview scripts and speeches.
  • Coordinate partnerships with external communication consultants and vendors as required for achieving goals within budgets.
  • Support the professional development of the team members, to continuously develop needed skills and expertise and achieve personal development aspirations.
  • Keep abreast of local and global best practices and make recommendations on how they impact the unit’s role.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion the definition of the team’s processes, policies and procedures.

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc qualification.

2). Head, Brand Management & Strategy

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative marketing communication strategies, plans and approaches to market products, services, and initiatives
  • Position corporate brand to have optimal outlook and reach in its targeted marketplace; and to generate high probability sales leads.
  • Continuously plan and execute brand engagement activities across digital and physical media.
  • Manage and ensure top-notch content development for both online and offline channels.
  • Serve as the custodian of the corporate brand, ensuring consistent projection of the company across all spheres of the business.
  • Ensure all external communications are consistent with brand guidelines
  • Have oversight for all technical, creative and content production process
  • Provide input to the budgeting process for strategic/tactical marketing planning.
  • Support the implementation of strategic through the line marketing activities including all internal communications, branding, events and sponsorships, merchandise management.
  • Support the development of brand strategies and marketing plans across subsidiaries.
  • Enforce brand consistency and drive brand quality across all platforms
  • Execute assigned businesses’ marketing plans/activities in addition to budget scheduling efficiencies
  • Liaise with Market Operations to ensure stakeholders requirements are clearly understood and delivered within stipulated SLAs
  • Undertake, on a periodic basis, competitive activity tracking a well as actionable intelligence reports and develop appropriate response
  • Maintain the security of all information entrusted with, and ensure full compliance with all principles and policies in IS Handbook
  • Supervise all assigned marketing services executives to ensure that objectives are met.

3). Head – Internal Communications, Sponsorship, Events and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Internal communications strategy and policies.
  • Ensure communication of the department’s strategic direction and objectives to all staff.
  • Contribute to the overall achievement of the organization’s mission & vision through effective staff engagement. Responsible for executive staff profiling and management on internal channels
  • Ensure that individual/teamwork and attitude reflect the tenets of the organisations culture and values.
  • Keep abreast of global best practices and make recommendations on how they impact the unit’s role. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Develop a strategic plan for ensuring staff alignment with management.
  • Support in the planning and development of annual Marketing and Communications activities for the Group
  • Enforce brand consistency on all internal channels and platforms Sponsorship, Events and CR&S
  • Develop a robust and effective execution roadmap for events management (Strategy)
  • Create and plan event(s) to foster networking opportunities. Determine strategic opportunities for success that may include sponsorships, speaking engagements, roundtable discussions, breakout, innovative session, and more,
  • Collaborate and coordinate with subsidiaries in the planning and production of events and sponsorships as applies for each business May 2023
  • Maintain group wide calendar of events and sponsorship activities,
  • Implement a system that enables mid- and long-term planning and effective execution of event and sponsorship for the company
  • Manage group wide calendar of activities and events to ensure harmony and efficiency.
  • Ensure appropriate branding at all events
  • Source and promote opportunities to drive awareness, sales opportunities, improve brand perception to strengthen Unified Payments’ image.
  • Plan, organise and drive various CRS initiatives for the enhancement of the Group’s performance, including timely disclosure of our CRS performance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute CRS programs as well as conduct periodic assessments to determine outcomes and effectiveness.

4). Marketing Services/Operations Coordinator

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Develop measurement plans which contain benchmarks and goals for each upcoming programs or projects.
  • Monitor performance, develop insights, make recommendations and implement optimisations and iterate on a continuous basis.
  • Serve as the marcoms project manager for the department and group wide enterprise projects
  • Able to produce dashboards with key marketing intel that can be translated to action
  • Identify, design, and document scalable processes that enable the marketing team to be more effective in their daily work and drive alignment within the department.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements, including marketing budget allocation.
  • Handle merchandise production and marketing collaterals
  • Works with relevant departments within the group to handle departmental capex requirements
  • Partners with the IT department for the purpose of optimizing CRM systems and tools, marketing technologies, data management, etc.
