1). Chief Systems Analyst, ICT

Location: Benin City, Edo

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the university’s ICT strategy in alignment with its academic and administrative objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction for the ICT department, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all ICT services

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in ICT management, preferably in an academic or research environment, with proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure, software development, cyber security, and information systems.
  • Expertise in network management, system administration, software development, and ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of higher education technology trends and issues.
  • Robust health and age between 30 & 40 years.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate would provide guidance and support to students regarding personal, academic and social issues
  • Act as a liaison between students and the university administration, addressing student concerns, and advocating for student needs.
  • Maintain connections with graduates and facilitate alumni involvement in university activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline, with at least ten years’ relevant experience in a well-established university and three years as a Senior Assistant Registrar.
  • Experience in handling administrative duties related to student services, including overseeing student activities, managing student housing, and handling disciplinary issues.
  • A strong commitment to student welfare and the overall mission of the university.
  • High ethical standard and integrity in handling sensitive student matters. Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be under 45 years old and in robust health.
