Job Title: Legal and Administrative Manager

Responsibilities
In House Counsel:
- Serve as Company Secretary
- Negotiating, writing and executing agreements and contracts on behalf of the company
- Register, perfect land titles and sundry
- Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals
- Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company
- Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements
- Responsible for all legal, statutory and policy matters of the company
Human Resource:
- Recruitment and talent management
- Employee relations and conflict resolution
- Benefits administration and compensation management
- Performance management and development
- Training and development programs
- Employee engagement and retention
- Compliance with labor laws and regulations
Construction Industry-Specific:
- Ensuring compliance with construction industry regulations
- Managing subcontractor agreements and relationships
- Coordinating workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs
- Developing and implementing site-specific safety policies and procedures
- Conducting investigations into workplace incidents and accidents
- Ensuring all workers understand and comply with company policies and procedures
- Managing onboarding and orientation processes for contract workers and laborers
- Coordinating training programs for all workers
- Monitoring worker classification (e.g., employee vs. independent contractor)
- Ensuring fair labor standards and wage compliance
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 to 5 years Law practice experience
- Demonstrated experience working in managerial role
- High level discipline and integrity
- Prompt & Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Organized, strong attention to detail, and process-oriented
- Energetic and flexible
- Reliable, independent, and able to juggle multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure and without supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft office tools
- Proficient with digital alternatives in Business Administration
