Job Title: Market Activation Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos (and covering other South West states)

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a skilled and motivated market Activation Manager to spearhead our Marketing efforts for extruded Snack products across Lagos and other South West States in Nigeria.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market Activation, with proven experience in executing successful programs in key markets.

Key Responsibilties

  • Market activation strategy: Develop and implement effective market activation strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of Lagos and surrounding South West States.
  • Program execution: Plan, organise, and execute market activation programs, including promotions, in-store events, and community engagements that enhance brand visibility and consumer encouragement.
  • Market analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive activity in the snack segment, using insights to inform activation strategies.
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other key stakeholders to facilitate product placement and enhance brand presence.
  • Performance monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of market activation initiatives through data analysis and feedback, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Training and support: Provide training and support to team members on product knowledge, activation strategies, and customer engagement techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market Activation or brand management, preferably within the food and Beverages sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in conducting successful market Activation programs I’m Lagos South West states.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics in tye Snack food industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiations skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite.
