About the Job
- We need a Market Operations Intern to support the objective of our market operations which oversees all Retail activities through exchange trading and liquidity, settlement, reporting and other operations.
- An associate whose primary responsibilities are to support all operations as assigned by the Portfolio Manager in order to ensure maximum profitability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
What your day-to-day at Quidax might look like:
- Ensure the seamless execution of all customer-related trades.
- Monitor the exchange to ensure that market orders are loaded correctly.
- Report liquidity and operational status as assigned by the Portfolio Manager
- Monitor all order book processes to prevent any issues that could lead to failed trades before they reach customer success.
- Maintain a daily trading blotter record of all retail trades.
- Track positions and profit and loss (P&L) for accurate reporting.
- Work closely with data analysts to provide useful data points in support of market operations.
- Assist in analyzing market trends and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with the Treasury team for timely market discovery.
- Assist in drafting rate trends and market analysis reports.
Requirements
What you need to have:
- Minimum 0-2 years’ experience in Trading Financial markets instruments.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of financial markets and trading.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
