Job Description
- We are seeking for an experienced Marketing and Customer Relations Manager with logistics experience for immediate employment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinateall marketing and customer service activities to maximize patronage.
- Identify the company’s target market and execute strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Attract regular patronage from corporate organizations through aggressivemarketing efforts.
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely pick-up and delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Secure charter services for clubs, associations, unions, institutions, companies, and government agencies.
- Develop products and services to enhance customer retention.
- Compile reports containing data and information related to customer requests and routes.
- Maintain up-to-date route and service information on the company’s websites to facilitate bookings.
- Recommend the most effective channels for promoting the company’s services, ensuring broad coverage at competitive rates.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with branch offices to facilitate a unified marketing approachfor improved financial performance.
- Create and implement annual and periodic marketing plans.
- Achieve agreed targets and goals.
- Handle objections and ensure the satisfaction of all customers.
- Organize training sessions, especially in marketing and customer acquisition and retention.
- Arrange customer forums periodically.
- Coordinate product launches as required.
Candidate Profile
- B.Sc/HND in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service.
- Familiarity with the transportation industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM software is desirable.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain professional communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail.
