Position Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Doctor (Intern) to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maternal and child healthcare, contribute to impactful projects, and work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and management of HelpMum’s vaccination programs.
- Provide medical support and guidance to nursing mothers registered on our vaccination tracker and chatbot.
- Conduct health education sessions for nursing mothers on various aspects of child health and immunization.
- Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of health data for program evaluation and improvement.
- Assist in developing and reviewing content for health education materials and communication platforms.
- Work with the tech team to provide insights for improving digital tools and services.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Provisional registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Strong interest in maternal and child health, public health, and community medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel to various communities as required.
