Job Description
- As a Cleaner, your primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within designated areas. This role plays a crucial part in creating a safe and pleasant environment for occupants.
- Cleaners contribute to the overall well-being of a space by performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a tidy and sanitary setting.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas.
- Dust and polish surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty and clean waste bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of trash.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
- Wipe down and disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of germs.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as window washing and carpet cleaning.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift/move objects as required.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in performing cleaning tasks.
