Job Title: Office Assistant (Roster Advertisement)
Location: Michika, Adamawa

Job Summary
- The position holder shall be responsible for cleaning the offices and surroundings of the office.
- He or she will manage the office operation, welcome visitors, and must have good driving knowledge
- The position holder shall also conduct routine checks on the office facility and report accordingly for appropriate measures or actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general office duties including filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
- Cleans rugs, tiles, restrooms, carpets, and furniture using cleaning agents as provided by Nuru Nigeria
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, polishes floor, cobweb walls and ceilings.
- Pick up and wash dirty kitchen utensils.
- Maintains housekeeping carts, maintains an inventory of housekeeping amenities, and reports when there is a need for replenishment.
- Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
- Report missing/found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the appropriate authority.
- Safely operate the office vehicle for errands, deliveries, and staff transport as required.
- Ensure the office vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and mileage.
- Adhere to all driving laws and organizational policies while driving.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Provide general information and assistance to staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
- Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments.
- And any other duty as will be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Certificate or Diploma
- 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven working experience as a Cleaner, Clerical task, and Driving.
- Ability to handle equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of transportation law
- Good traffic judgment
- Good knowledge of car mechanics
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of the office equipment
- Excellent driving skills
- Flexible, effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Good at communicating in English
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
