Description
- They take pride in their commitment to quality craftsmanship and personalized service. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the busy office and contribute to the success of our creative team.
Responsibilities
Quality Assessment:
- Inspect finished garments for quality and adherence to design specification
- Collaborate with tailors to ensure consistent quality standards
- Implements and enforce quality control procedures
- Regularly visit markets and suppliers to procure high-quality materials for our tailors.
- Maintain accurate records of material inventory
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Inspect finished garments for quality and adherence to design
- Follow up with orders on social media handles
- Post and update social media pages with new designs
Staff Management:
- Supervise and manage office staff, ensuring punctuality and productivity
- Coordinate with the HR department for recruitment and training as needed
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment
Neatness and Presentation:
- Oversee the presentation of finished products, ensuring they meet the highest standard of neatness an craftsmanship.
- Implement and maintain cleanliness standards in the workplace
Office Administration:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the office
- Handle administrative tasks, include record-taking, scheduling and correspondence
- Implement and improve office processes for increased efficiency.
Qualifications
- OND in Business Administration, Fashion Management, or a related field.
- 2 – 3 years work experience.
- Previous experience in the fashion industry is a plus
- Proven experience in office management, preferably in a fashion or textiles setting
- Ability to assess and maintain quality standards
- Familiarity with market trends in textiles and fashion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
