Job Description 

  • Regulate parking and traffic in assigned lot restricting unauthorized vehicles and providing entry to authorized vehicles.
  • Collects parking fees from customer based on charges for amount of time parked or standard lot fee; issues receipts.
  • Enters transactions on cash register or other approved means.
  • Report on any issue that arises to your supervisor.
  • Counts parked vehicles and holds required spaces for reservations; place sign in view when lot is full.
  • Provides directions, parking alternatives and information upon request to vehicle owners.
  • Display proof of payment or otherwise on parked vehicles.
  • Place written notice of payment due on windshield of vehicles in lot before and after attendant hours.
  • Monitor assigned lot for all vehicle for purposes of parking and payment.
  • Checks permits to verify authorization and assist in identification of stolen permits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE required
  • Ability to read and write
  • Physically fit to work for hours
  • Able to communicate
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Knowledge of Parking Regulations
  • Should be able to maintain integrity and honesty while handling cash transactions, issuing citations, or managing parking-related activities.

Salary

  • N40,000 – N50,000 / month.
