We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Performance and Financial Management Officer (PFMO)
Location: All Locations Across Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 1-year contract (Renewable)
Description
- Our client has commissioned us to recruit Performance and Financial Management officers (PFMOs) across all locations in the Federation to support ongoing reforms in Primary Healthcare (PHC) service delivery.
Scope of Work
- The PFMOs will be engaged to manage priority PHCs and provide technical and programmatic support including carrying out physical verification visits.
Responsibilities
- Track receipt of fund disbursement to the PHC
- Monitor and report in-eligible expenditure, including adherence to cash withdrawal limits
- Verify if reported income and expenses accurately reflect on-ground realities
- Support the implementation of corrective action plans based on performance and financial audit as directed by the client
- Monitor and report on the implementation of targeted interventions at the PHCs
- Collect data for routine updates of the PHC database (HRH, equipment, infrastructure and services delivered, etc)
- Form opinion on reported utilization data and observed facility client traffic and report same for various services.
Core Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Public Health Admin, Business Admin, Finance, Statistics, or related fields with 1-3 years experience
- MS Word, Excel, and PPT, strong analytical and reporting skills, excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tool
- Experience managing health programs in government or non-governmental organizations is an added advantage.
