Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

key Responsibilities

• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
• Negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Managing supplier relationships and performance.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Preparing procurement reports and analyzing data to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local and international supply markets.

Requirements:

• Must be 35 years or older.
• Must reside in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / Month.
