Title: Product Owner
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, Remote Work Model
The Role
- This role is exciting, positively challenging, and will provide growth to the prospective role holder.
- The ideal role holder is an experienced and highly motivated Product Owner who is intelligent and a solution-driven and will be responsible for managing our product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements thereby helping to set the long-term vision and strategy for the company’s products
- Most importantly, in line with the organization’s standards, he/she should be committed, hard-working, and particular about delivering quality work.
Job Responsibilities
These include but are not limited to:
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Gather, manage, and prioritize market and customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Ops, Design, and Support teams to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Possess technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise.
- Serve as the customer advocate, articulating the user’s and client’s needs.
- Regularly review completed work and check with customers to ensure it meets their expectations.
- Develop business cases for new products and improvements to existing products.
- Develop product positioning strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner
- Possess a technical understanding of the Finance domain
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success in managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle.
- Proven ability to develop effective product and marketing strategies.
- Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to achieving valuable results.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

- If we find your performance in the exercise satisfactory, you will meet with one of our Client for a technical chat – relating to the role and the recruitment exercise.
- We will ensure to give you an update within a week after each stage.
