Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Conduct cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Analyze and evaluate project specifications and contract documents to ensure accurate quantity take-offs.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish and manage budgets, providing regular cost reports and updates.
- Assess and negotiate variations in contract scope and provide recommendations on cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential cost overruns and proposing corrective measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Atleast 3 Years of experience in Quantity Surveying
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying.
