Title: Receptionist

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations, both in person and over the phone.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively, aiming for complete guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / OND qualification.
  • 2 – 5 years work experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and standard office applications.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a full-service hotel preferred.
