Job Title: Regional Agency Network Officer

Job Objective
- The job holder is responsible for implementing the bank’s strategy to provide financial services to underbanked and unbanked segments through regional agents; thereby, expanding customer touchpoints and increasing revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Agent Network Manager to drive strategic retail alliances and partnerships, aiming to expand the Bank’s agent network.
- Train and brand global partners, agent aggregators, and agents within the specific region.
- Provide leadership and manage agent banking field teams (DSAs) in liaison with branch managers to meet set targets.
- Ensure adherence to bank procedures and internal processes in agent recruitment and onboarding.
- Conduct market intelligence to gather competitor information for management decisions.
- Engage field agents through routine visitations and planned conventions or meetings for training purposes.
- Manage regional stock of devices and branding materials, including issuance and returns.
- Implement strategies to maintain agent loyalty and operationalize plans for agent development and management.
- Achieve agent banking targets and overall business performance of the agent network.
- Support marketing, sales, and activation plans, and contribute to talent acquisition and retention efforts.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and promote a culture of continuous improvement and talent development.
- Empower existing businesses in the region through agent activation in order to expand the bank’s customer touchpoints, leading to increased penetration, revenue, and profitability of the agent networks.
Job Requirements
- BSc / HND in any discipline
- At least 1-2 years’ experience on a similar role.
Candidate Profile:
This role requires that the job holder must possess:
- Functional knowledge requirements: agency banking, current market/competitive digital positioning, partner, and alliance management.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Ability to drive strategic retail alliances and partnerships aimed at expanding the Bank’s distribution network via Agency Banking.
- Ability to coordinate direct field sales, oversee marketing and sales activities, acquire agents, and monitor mandatory agent compliance nationwide
- Ability to support the increased adoption of agency banking throughout the customer journey/lifecycle.
