Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Location: Lagos

Job type: Full-time

Key Deliverables

  • Develop Customer Plan for the region and the Distributor Business plan for each customer in the territory.
  • Develop New Sales opportunities within designated Region.
  • Drive Distributor Management Best Practice in the area of recruitment, selection, review, termination and replacement of distributors.
  • Regular review of Regional structure and requirements
  • Management Review template. Communicate and ensure achievement of cycle action Priorities.
  • Regularly review with the Distributors their performance and contribution in line with Distributor
  • To effectively develop and manage the Operational Field Sales Force in line with the Performance Management Plan Implement and Manage Internal and External Training for sales Force
  • Accountable for implementing and reporting Company based Plans for Market Share gains or greater Market Penetration and Numeric Distribution in a Sales Region.
  • Manage BTL to drive performance and improve Customer Contribution Statement And Region Customer Contribution Statement.
  • Accountable for Forecast Accuracy for the region.
  • Effective Management and Control of allocated Trade Funds BTL.
  • Implement Promotional Activity in line with the Brand Strategies in Categories and Channels
  • Prepare Monthly Regional report with all essential elements including Competitor Activity.
  • Liaise with Business Partners to keep abreast with Industry Development.
  • Monitor/Submit Price Surveys and Other Market Intelligence information.
  • Efficiently manage Selling and other general operational/admistration expenses

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Higher qualification in any field
  • Must have 7 years + Sales/Marketing Experience in FMCG industry
