Job Title: Cloud Computing Instructor
Location: Lagos

Job Role
- We are seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for cloud computing and education to join our team as a Cloud Computing Instructor.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud computing, proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, and a dedication to fostering a rich learning environment for students.
Technical Requirements
Core Technical Skills:
Linux Systems:
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, including setup, services, networking, security, and automation.
- Proficiency with Bash scripting and configuration management using Ansible.
Cloud Computing:
- Expertise with major cloud providers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Understanding of infrastructure as code security practices.
Containerization & Orchestration:
- Experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) runtimes and building container images.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and best practices for container security.
DevOps & Site Reliability Engineering (SRE):
- Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle, continuous integration, and continuous deployment/delivery.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logs management, managing releases, and chaos engineering.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles.
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Ability to clearly articulate complex cloud computing concepts and strategies to learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Curriculum Design: Experience in creating comprehensive course outlines and detailed teaching materials for maximum engagement and learning.
- Pedagogical Skills: Knowledge of virtual teaching methodologies and tools.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to continuously update the curriculum and teaching methods..
Who You Are
- You are eager to shape the skills, minds, and trajectories of the newest generation of cloud computing professionals.
- You are the person that your learners see as a career mentor and can easily reach out to when they need help.
- You have at least 4 years of industry experience with cloud computing.
- You have fluency in the following topics: Linux, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and SRE.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching remotely and use of requisite tools (i.e., video conferencing, messaging, etc. )
- Backgrounds in adult learning, pedagogy, and curriculum development.
