We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Development Representative
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the company’s added value through presentations, and proposals uniquely positioned to customer needs, by using knowledge of products and services, as well as customer research.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Account / Sales Executives in the next steps.
- Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook.
- Utilize HubSpot, Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives & Managers.
- Report to Sales Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills and Experience Required:
- You’re a team player, proactive, and know how to contribute and make an impact.
- Two or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets and sales quotas.
- Strong knowledge and experience with sales tools and technologies e.g Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive,
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email.
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
- Must be committed to continuous personal development, and willing to put in 20-60 hours into learning and development monthly.
- Must be collaborative, work well in a team, and also trustworthy enough to take initiative and get things done with little or no supervision.
- You have some sense of humor and prefer to work in an upbeat environment.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / month.
