Description
Who we are looking for:
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the sales strategy and achieving revenue targets for our logistics services.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize the sales approach.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to enhance the team’s performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and proactively offer tailored logistics solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide timely and insightful feedback to senior management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to align strategies and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in Operations focused on trucking and large consumer-oriented brands.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
