Description

Who we are looking for:

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the sales strategy and achieving revenue targets for our logistics services.

Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize the sales approach.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to enhance the team’s performance.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and proactively offer tailored logistics solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide timely and insightful feedback to senior management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to align strategies and meet customer expectations.

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Operations focused on trucking and large consumer-oriented brands.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
