Job Title: Sales Operations Analyst

Location: Kaduna

Employment Type: Full-time

Role’s Mission

  • To manage the sales process in order to enhance sales productivity, Sales analysis and reports to support commercial decision making, provide back-office support to the sales team to enable Sales target achievement.

Job Description

  • Compile, track, and summarize Daily Route Activity Reports from all Sales representatives and maintain a functional database.
  • Compile, analyze, and report primary and secondary sales data, Distributor inventory, etc.
  • Analyze and report Sales KPIs actual versus target nationally -primary & secondary sales, coverage, Call rate, productivity, Average drop size, Lines per invoice, etc.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities and create reports to track progress and performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their operational needs and help achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement sales processes for sales teams, and other representatives.
  • Research and analyze data to create sales forecasts.
  • Create and manage automation tools to increase sales process efficiency.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Create and manage sales documentation, including sales plans, SOPs and job aids.

Requirements and Skills

  • BSC / HND degree in Business Administration/Management, or related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities in the FMCG industry.
  • Proficient in MS office, Google suite, database software and SFA.
  • Leadership skills to evaluate ongoing sales team performance
  • Interpersonal and Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales team, collaborating departments and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and recommend and implement new strategies
  • Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecasts.
  • A good team player with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Business or Data analytics certifications.

Remuneration

  • Salary is commensurate to experience within the range of industry standards.
  • A communication allowance, pension, and health insurance are included, and an annual performance-based bonus may be awarded at the discretion of the executive management team.
