Title: School Admin (Bursar)

Location: Mowe, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary / Responsibilities

  • Prepare and oversee budgets execution, manage  logistics and events or meetings, tuition fee, books and receipts files
  • Supervise and control daily cash management operations, accounts receivable and payable
  • Supervise and control organization’s annual budget and create regular reports on expenses
  • Understand and review the way the school and all its departments function.
  • Taking into account each teacher’s workload and extracurricular activities when developing class schedules.
  • Assisting with the hiring, recruitment, training, and onboarding of new teachers.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with parents, students, and staff at other schools.
  • Preparing and submitting drafts of proposals, financial reports, and other documents.
  • Attending meetings and scheduling appropriate staff team building sessions.
  • Keeping track of student successes and failures and preparing appropriate interventions.
  • Managing school support staff, resolve conflicts and give prompt report on all issues to the superiors as directed by the management.

Qualification and Experience

  • HND / B.Sc in Social Sciences or other relevant fields
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, management, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to remain professional.
  • Extensive school administration experience will be an added advantage.
  • A willingness to work overtime.

Skills / Competencies:

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite and basic knowledge of graphic application
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and execute deliverables promptly
  • Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
  • Leadership ability with adequate knowledge in conflict resolution and other social skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
