Job Title: School Administrator

Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an organized and efficient School Administrator to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the school, supporting staff, students, and parents, and ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the school’s administrative functions, including student enrolment, attendance, and record-keeping.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head Teacher, faculty, and staff.
  • Oversee the maintenance of student and staff records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate communication between the school, parents, and the community, including handling inquiries, distributing information, and updating the school website and social media.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating school events, meetings, and activities.
  • Manage the school’s budget and financial transactions, including processing invoices, managing accounts, and monitoring expenditures.
  • Supervise office staff and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and operational.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Education Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in school administration or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of administrative processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and school management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial management and budgeting principles is a plus.
