Job Overview

  • We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented School Principal to lead the institution. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of school management, ensuring the delivery of quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to staff and students in achieving the school’s mission and goals.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet national and school-specific curriculum standards.
  • Oversee daily school operations, including academics, administration, and extracurricular activities.
  • Manage, and mentor a team of dedicated teachers and support staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, conducting regular appraisals and facilitating professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, community stakeholders, and educational authorities.
  • Prepare and manage the school budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Uphold safety and discipline standards to foster a secure and nurturing environment for students and staff.
  • Promote extracurricular programs that enhance students’ holistic development.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • A good number of years of teaching and administrative experience in a secondary school setting, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian educational system and WAEC/NECO curriculum standards.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using modern administrative tools and technology.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to academic and character excellence.
