Job Overview

• As a Security Architect (Level 2), you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure systems and integrating security solutions into our existing IT infrastructure. You will conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and work closely with IT and business units to ensure robust security practices are in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure systems and integrate security solutions into the existing IT infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop, enforce, and regularly update security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Evaluate, select, and manage security products and services from external vendors.
• Provide expertise during security incidents and conduct post-incident reviews to identify gaps.
• Collaborate with IT and business units, communicate security strategies, and act as a security advisor.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to employees.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, conduct internal audits, and benchmark against industry standards.

Education and Work Experience

• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity roles, with at least 3-5 years in security architecture or design.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for large and complex environments.

Technical Skills:

• Security Technologies: In-depth knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, IAM, encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures.
• Cloud Security: Experience with securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Application Security: Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security frameworks.

Professional Certifications
Candidates with the following certifications will be preferred:

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• SANS/GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
