Title: Security Technical Lead

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all security technologies and integrated solutions
• Work in conjunction with IT, Real Estate, internal engineering teams and external consultants and actively contribute to the detailed engineering design, architecture design, systems specification, and tender documentation for largescale integrated security solutions.
• Conduct performance based System Acceptance Testing for major security technology projects and upgrades.
• Develop technical processes, procedures, and configuration documents for new security systems.
• Provide technical support and advice on all matters relating to physical security, working collaboratively with business to ensure that the organization makes optimum use of security technology to mitigate risks, reduce costs and effectively enhance business operations.
• Responsible Security TA3 collaborating with other department such as IT on the technical security aspects of future projects.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in a Technical / Engineering discipline such as Electronic Engineering or ICT.
• At least 10 years of experience in a technical security role (for a systems integrator or security consultant)
• Indepth design and integration knowledge of a wide range of security system technologies and integrated solutions, including those identified above.
• Handson design and delivery experience of full lifecycle systems integration projects, including largescale projects above $10m;
• Qualified project manager with at least 5year experience managing complex multifaceted technical security projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex integrated security solutions in highrisk environments using advanced sensors and systems.
• Experience designing security systems for large on and offshore infrastructure facilities in the Energy, Transport or Industrial sectors.
• Firm understanding of ICT deployments including TCP/IP LAN/WAN, Server Applications, Architecture, Virtualization, Network Security, Storage Area Networks (including iSCSI), etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, management and leadership skills.
• To work efficiently in a demanding multitasking environment with changing priorities and challenging deadlines.
• Comfortable in a fastchanging environment and able to work appropriate hours and in sometimes difficult locations
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, combined with a strategic perspective
• Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to author technical documents.
• Ability to apply, develop and work with CAD Applications like AutoCAD.
