Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance field
• 3+ years of finance experience, ideally in a professional service environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English as well as the local office language
• Excellent in analytics and problem solving
• Able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Some SAP knowledge recommended

What You’ll Do

• In this role you will be responsible for the implementation/maintenance of controls and compliance with our firm accounting policies, ensuring accuracy of monthly results for your location and managing all accounting processes, projects and initiatives with little oversight and drive innovation on processes, controls, reporting and compliance.
• You will manage audit processes, local tax and other governance requirements as appropriate based on local and firm requirements. You will also play a critical role in the coordination of the location finance function with the relevant support teams (Corporate tax team, firm reporting teams etc.). In addition, you will coach and develop more junior team members and manage ad-hoc tasks/projects, as required by your location.

Who You’ll Work With

• You’ll be part of our Finance team, with majority focus on our West Africa locations which include Nigeria and Ghana as countries.
• Our Finance team consists of colleagues from different parts of the world which is part of a larger EEMA (Eastern Europe, Middle east and Africa) region.
• You will be based in our Lagos office.
