Job Description

  • The Senior Administrative Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the organization.
  • This includes managing office procedures, supervising administrative staff, and ensuring efficient and effective office operations.
  • The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of office management procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Leadership:

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations.
  • Develop and implement administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Office Management:

  • Manage office facilities, including space planning, maintenance, and security.
  • Ensure the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Oversee office budget and manage expenses.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate and manage administrative projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with other departments to support organizational goals.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between departments.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements.

Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Oversee the management of electronic and physical files.
  • Ensure data protection and confidentiality.

Strategic Planning:

  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices in administrative management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Management, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Proven experience in administrative management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
