Job Title: Senior Analyst – Corporate Finance

Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing complex financial models from scratch to evaluate investment opportunities, feasibility studies, and project valuations.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow projections, ROI assessments, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics.
  • Monitor and analyze the company’s daily cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate/optimize the clients mortgage borrowing or investments, or assist in the execution of the daily cash management duties.
  • Analyze monthly bank charges / interest income on call account and to reconcile it with bank statement.
  • Prepare interest and loan schedule for clients borrowings and to update it regularly.
  • Maintain clients deposits schedule and timely repayment to enforce late payment and default for sanction
  • Adhere to month-end cut-off schedules for reconciliations of bank accounts, month-end processes, and related journal entries.
  • Open Client Mortgage accounts/Harmony Gardens Escrow accounts and to update the KYC for NHF and FMB assessment.
  • Leading fundraising initiatives from NHF, FMB, including debt and equity financing, to support project development and expansion.
  • Preparing comprehensive investment memoranda and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize capital allocation and enhance overall financial performance.
  • To be the admin for online banking platform and corporate credit card program.
  • Maintain confidentiality in the execution of all business transactions.
  • Other finance Dept. work as and when assigned by the GM/ED/CEO / managers.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • 6-10 years’ experience in handling treasury activities and reporting in a large organization preferably in real estate sector, Working experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, Prior experience in Investors Relations required.
  • MBA, CA, or CFA qualification with a strong academic background in finance, accounting, mortgage banking or a related field.
  • Proven experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial advisory, preferably within the real estate sector.
  • Expertise in building sophisticated financial models from scratch, with proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
