Description

• Payvost is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our fast-growing team.
• As part of our team, you will contribute to a revolutionary fintech platform that combines traditional banking, stock trading, cryptocurrency services, investment opportunities, and a robust payment gateway in a single, customer-centric solution.

• As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end infrastructure that powers our platform, ensuring it runs smoothly, securely, and meets the needs of our customers.
• You will have opportunities to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from building new features to optimizing existing ones, and collaborate with talented team members across all areas of the business to deliver a seamless experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the back-end infrastructure of the Payvost platform
• Design and implement scalable, reliable and secure solutions for data storage, retrieval, and querying from various sources
• Optimize and improve the performance and scalability of existing systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and services
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and testing best practices are followed
• Monitor and debug production systems, responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development and contribute to the company’s technical roadmap.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience in back-end development, preferably in fintech or a related industry
• Strong experience with a programming language such as Python, Java, or Ruby
• Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and management
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
