Job Description
- Lead and oversee petroleum economics and planning activities within the organization.
- Develop strategic plans and long-term forecasts for petroleum projects and assets.
- Build and maintain financial models and tools to analyze investment opportunities.
- Conduct complex economic and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
- Develop the Economics guidelines and peer review process.
- Research oil and gas industry information and develop insights on market trends and implications on business strategy.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Petroleum Economics, Business Economics or Finance.
- Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in petroleum economics, planning, and financial analysis.
- In-depth understanding of economic evaluation methods, financial modeling, and risk analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of the petroleum industry, including market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in risk analysis, project evaluation, and maximizing profitability.
