Description 

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project scope and requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee daily construction activities, including excavation, foundation work, framing, roofing, and finishing.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and risks.
• Lead and manage a team of construction workers, including laborers, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
• Provide clear instructions, guidance, and motivation to the team.
• Resolve conflicts and disciplinary issues among team members.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that work is performed to the highest standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and tests.
• Identify and rectify defects or nonconformities.
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local building codes.
• Oversee the procurement and delivery of construction materials.
• Manage inventory and minimize waste.
• Monitor project budgets and identify costsaving opportunities.
• Track project expenses and prepare regular cost reports.

Qualifications

• BSc / HND in Building or Civil Engineering
• 0 – 1 year of experience in construction supervision.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques and building codes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
