Job Title: Site Supervisor/Quantity Surveyor

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a versatile professional to join our construction team in the dual role of Site Supervisor and Quantity Surveyor.
• The ideal candidate will oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Additionally, they will manage the cost aspects of construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts.
• This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction management, and proficiency in quantity surveying principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily on-site activities to ensure adherence to construction plans and safety protocols.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and report on timelines, costs, and potential issues to project managers.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction and ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Enforce site safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.

Other Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects based on architectural drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and prepare regular cost reports.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor bids and proposals.
• Assess and value variations to the contract and prepare claims for additional work as required.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects or renovations.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize project costs and resources.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and assist in contract administration.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees in relevant fields with 1 – 3 relevant years work experience in similar role.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
