Job Summary

• SME Marketing Officers at IRM Limited are responsible for the marketing, evaluation, and processing of loans applications and act as liaisons between customers and the funding organization/bank while helping qualified applicants acquire loans promptly.

Job Description

• Establishing relationships with banks that fund SMEs
• Sourcing and establishing business relationships with prospects that require BOI loans and other banks’ loans
• Following up with customers/prospects’ applications at optimal response time
• Market loan products and process loan applications for SMEs.
• Interview loan applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of repayment of loans
• Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up loan payment plans
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Visiting the business /employer of guarantors and preparing a complete loan assessment according to the funding organization/bank’s credit procedures
• Ability to meet and exceed targets while actively working to increase business portfolio and client’s base.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you as the need arises from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc in Marketing or a related field
• 3 – 8 years Cognate Experience as an SME Loan Officer from a reputable Financial Institution
• Must have a pool of high-worth Customers credible to access loan/credit facilities in either Lagos or other parts of the country (Nigeria).
• Must be goal and target-oriented and able to deliver.
